probably a wee bit tight any pp heads up is pretty strong, if you intended to fold i would not raise either go with it or dont play it

other reasons for folding here if he has been very tight heads up? if no reads would 2-3 x that way we can easily fold if we arent confident but with your raise you are pretty commited and even against overpair still might aswell call here

    Is he a good player?

    Is he better than you?

Whos been having the better of the heads up battle so far?

I still think it's a call, no matter that the answers to the above questions are.

Why do you open so big??

We had a few good exchanges during the tourney but he always had a big chip lead in the heads up, we saw off Glitterbabe in third place !

I had been shoving a lot and a think I might of slowed up a little bit too much

putting in 1/3 of your stack and folding is a very interesting line.

I wouldn't repeat it ever though........

    open jam

or raise call or anything but 1/3 of your stack fold.

its just a shove pre, opening x4.5 with that blind to stack ratio is mental and folding to the shove is insane,

if hes folding a lot to raises then you can x2, 2.5 it but with the blinds so big compared to stack sizes its pretty much a lottery so there aint a ton of play left

thanks for all the comments as I was down to the felt way back in the tourney, struggling to creep into the cash at first, so I am very pleased.

Helps towards paying for the vandalism to my nice white Audi last week, massive key mark and wing mirror ripped off !

There are some jealous ****** out there
