was i right to fold?

This was close to the final table, i was running well but still cant decide whether i should have took a punt on the river. WAS I RIGHT TO FOLD?

    Fold is correct as played. But you are really past the point in the blinds and stack sizes where set farming is really correct play. If you're odds to hit a set are 8:1 and you are paying 1200, you can see that really you are not going to get paid off enough to balance out what its going to cost you.

    So for me, raise it here to steal the pot, or improve your chances, or fold. Call isn't right play at this stage for me, as there is virtually no flop you will like that doesn't have a 5 on it.

    Fold as played for sure.

    I'd actually fold pre because I'd think the limper will call you with anything pretty if you raise, given they've put in a big % of their stack. It's possible they may be trapping too.

    Can't argue with a raise pre either though. The call I CAN argue with.....
