Also not looking just at the river here.

When i re-raise on the turn, should i have shoved instead of the bet i made?

Its alright saying float coz it sounds better, but in reality you were chasing/fishing.  It depends if you think your overs are outs or not. He has pot bet flop and you have a shortstack to act behind.  If you miss turn, how much are you willing to call on the next bet.  I dont mind just folding flop.  As played, I dont mind your turn raise size as whatever the river you are getting it in, and there are some donks who think they have fold equity and shove over your raise.
Of course you have to call the river at that price

    calling here as played

only error might aswell shoved turn, if they did have 2 spades you would have missed out on the extra money

Otherwise unlucky played fine apart from that

I can gurantee Don is not folding here, regardless whether he knew he was behind :-)

I had a feeling i was behind, and i was. But i did make the call.

Look back there was no danger my opponent was folding 10 J of spades lol.
