This is actually one of those spots that come up quite a lot and people are always wondering how to play it. It would be good to see what most of the regs on here do, imo.

For what it's worth, I am a complete nit and fold. Reason here is that we're in a multiway pot and out of position to the player behind. I'd be far more comfortable calling the bet on the flop if I was closing the action and then reassessing according to the villain's bet size on the turn. In this spot I fold like a big girl.

    What do the others think?

Is this a DYM? cos it may make a difference to format imo

Personally i would flat here and re-evaluate but this is readless and not knowing what tourney, any reads? structure etc

    DYM would defo fold

i'd probably fold then, opponent is calling with rag ace. early stages although some people prefer to be aggresive i would wait for a better spot this is first level after all

It's a reluctant fold for me, particularly with another player to act. There's no point in risking a big part of your stack in a tricky spot like this during level 1.

100% fold early stages of mtt its a no brainer.

A pot sized donk lead is usually a sign they have what they are representing, so it's a fold for me.

I did fold. I later busted the guy, he kept making similar moves and i flopped monsters twice to take him down.

Potential win of 400ish if he's bluffing - not gonna win u tourney, not worth the risk this early imo
