Down to about 5xBB at one stage in last night's Primo Final, Ben Nuttall battled back to win, & with it, & close to £4,100.

Remarkable enough, but he also won Saturday's Open, for almost £1,800. Back-to-back wins!

Even more stunning, I believe that is FOUR "Open" or "Main Event" wins for Ben on Sky Poker inside 4 weeks.

Has anyone ever won back-to-back Main Events, & 4 inside a month?

What a remarkable achievement!

Form is temporary, class is permanent, & Ben has been cutrting the mustard since Sky Poker began. Respect.

    Don't forget, Ben was also runner-up in Total Player. I was in the Studio with him that night, & he was crushed, absolutely crushed, but warmly congratulated his mate Dan.

    What backbone & resilience Ben shows, he never moans or groans when variance goes against him, the mark of a real man.

    Top, top, bloke, & I'm proud to regard him as a friend - but he's one of those very rare blokes who does not have a single enemy or detractor.

    Nicely done, Ben. Impressive comeback from 5xBBs, too. Mind you, Tikay does that every week after folding for the first 80% of a tournament... :)

    That's an amazing run of form, I'm hoping Ben takes down the first of the quarterly league tournaments and wins a place in TSP.

    I have only played at the same table as Ben once,  It was a £55 DYM........  ( I was arguing with the wife while I registered for the table,  I thought I was registering for a £5.50 game ;o) )

    Ben was down to 600 chips  with all 6 players remaining, He picked his spots and managed to get back up to 2000 chips without a single showdown, he raised, 3 bet his way back into the game.  I cashed ( by good fortune ) Ben cashed through skill and talent.  It was a real pleasure to be at the table to see how the game can be played.

    Nice one Ben! TSP will be calling you soon I think...a top tournament player and getting the results your play deserves. Hope it continues into the new year.

    (I once won the 8.15pm DS on both the Sat & Sun night, but that pales into insignificance compared to your achievement)

    It could be the battle of the 'young uns' to get into TSP next.......you, Browndog & Dollie!.
