hok with pretty decent flop giving us both the straight draw and back door flush should i be betting here? turn is good giving me flush draw & straight should i be betting this?

with all this in mind what are you doing on the river? no reads on the opponent, i had played 1 previous pot strongly AJ bet pre, flop called, turn 2 people in it so i re-raised and both folded. no relevance to player here but only hand i played

    Exactly as scotty said.

You've got to bet that flop. The Q or J has hit your range plus you've got the OESD.

Short of hitting your straight the turn card is good & I'm raising this to around 225-250 here.

As played shove the river. In the unlikely event that he's got the ace high flush then UL but you'll still have ~1500 chips or so left so plenty to play with at this level

ok not going to get much here i min-raised they shoved had about 400 to call knew they had nut flush but not folding there

they had A4 suited, i have only posted as i felt i played it very weak so my own fault if i bet flop may have got rid, on turn doubt ever getting rid was a very swingy tourney lol i lost about 4/5 flips in all

You say you minraise the river to get a reraise, and yet, when he did raise you said this: "i min-raised they shoved had about 400 to call knew they had nut flush but not folding there" sure looks like an inconsistent story to me. You're clearly not thinking about what you're trying to achieve at all with that minraise. Anyway, I don't see any reason to check back the flop, if you bet and he shoves you're still getting odds to call so you're not really frightened of getting blown off the hand, and you have position so if he calls you can either take a free one on the turn or bluff shove if you pick something up from his timing or pick up additional outs as you would've here. As played shove river obviously, he'll pot/call with a lot worse than your hand.
