Just been cut off mid tourny.

I can't get back on again on my laptop, but I have got my old one out, and am connected fine, to the same network, via the same router.

On my laptop it says I am connected with limited connectivity - with a yellow exclamation mark where my connection strength normally is.

I have no idea with technology, but srely this wud confuse most people?

I can't "jst use this one" coz it's useless and Im lucky to get 2 tables running.

Can anyone help? - Is there anything I can do? or is it a problem at their end?

If I can't get this goin I might actually have to go out tonight, thats how drastic this problem is!!! Help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzz    x x x x x x

hey DOHHHHHHH, just turn your laptop off then back on, its normally an ip address problem. if it still says limited connection after it has restarted just right click on the icon select status for xp and then click repair, that should reassign your ip.

Bottom right hand side where the clock is - where it says "I am connected with limited connectivity"

Right click on that icon - click on diagnose and repair or connect to a network.

no need to re-boot router if other lappies are ok

It might not be your equipment, could be further down the line, I had similar problems here a while back.

turn your router off for 3 seconds, turn off at wall and wait 30 secs...turn back on.

    should do the trick
