Hi all,
Following the work that Charlie (Flashflush) has put into the 10 seater Deepstak league (s) I thought it might be an idea to start a league for the higher buy-in of 22. This will run until the end of September and points will be awarded on the same basis as Charlie's leagues
Last's night was another stormer! and well done to Nutter in first, and Drew in 2nd especially. Just a special mention goes to Nutter, who when HU with drew when Drew was disconnected also went "away" to allow time for Drew to return. This was a very sporting gesture!

Greg if you call this the "Deepstack premier league" cos im going to call mine Championship, League1 and league 2 for the 11, 5.50 and 3.30

Can I make one suggestion before it goes any further.
Sometimes there are as few as 17 runners so to make it absolutely fair how about just giving points to the top 15 players each day so that the SAME number of points are available every day.
I have found myself not playing 'deepstack' tournies because there were limited runners thereby reducing my average even if I won!
Only a suggestion but happy to participate anyway.
This sounds similar to the online pub league that I play. whatever the field size (around 100) the top 8 get the extra points. 20 up to 100 for first. All other runners get 10 points. This way the final tablist are the ones who really get the rewards in terms of points.
The average system will work better now as it is divided into the leagues. As the average turn out for each buy in will be roughly the same for each event. Adding on the play 50% rule before you can be put on the leaderboard then I guess this is the fairest.

Just realised that if im gonna be pedantic about this that as there were only 19 runners in the first one i should award 1.0526316 points per place for that tournie! Dont worry, i want to keep it simple lol!

Me as well to the above point.
I'm always happy to go with the flow.
However, I play in a few other forum leagues and they do tend to have a rigid points system.
I always said top 50 was a good idea imho.
In the end it is only a bit of fun amongst, mostly, friends and only a bit of street cred at stake.
