Hi gang,

Yes, it must be Christmas or something coz we're live on a Wednesday night!

Tonight, Santa Kendall and I will be hosting and bringing you four hours of festive Mastercash...with a twist.

Every half an hour we'll be awarding the best play from each level a prize.

There's seven envelopes to choose from- 6 are tournament entires of various values and the seventh is a very special prize indeed-

Richard Orford's Strategy Guide to Poker.

Yes- an exclusive collector's editon- (i.e. only one has been made). This book is pure tactical gold for which I have already been offered thousands by the likes of Dan Harrington, Doyle Brunson and Megan Fox. (well, it was a dream I had last night- so be fair)

Some people might be calling it the booby prize. but pay no attention to them. Although just in case you think that my thoughts on poker aren't priceless enough though, I've got all the Sky Poker presenters and analysts to sign it to ensure it has at least 'some' value. :)

So there you go- to be in a with a chance of winning you need to be playing on the Mastercash TV tables tonight from around 7.45.

Then from 8 we jump up every 30 minutes- here's the schedule...

We're also playing Disastermind again. If you'd like to have 30 seconds on general knowledge live on the show for entry into Friday's Totty then email your name, alias and phone number to skyopen@bskyb.com and we'll get you on the show!

    I thought this thread was a level, but have just received a phone call from Sky_Mandy confirming that there *IS* a live show tonight.

    And I've been invited to take part in Orford's quiz.  I figure it'll be rigged against me (no, I'm not paranoid, I just know Richard and Tikay really well!), but have agreed to take part anyway :)

    Hi Rich.....It is advertised on 865 tonight as the 'live' open from 11pm. Is this the case or is it just going to be all cash all night?

    Anyone can play on the cash tables.....but we can only show the TV tables, whoever is sat at them, but rest assured we do our best to ensure that everyone gets their fair share of airtime, when possible.

    lol not moaning about you Mandy.  just think its unfair that the same people use the medium of TV to advertise bluff bluff bluff and then when they play properly they are nittier than TK esp when they are rolled for far higher.  let random people play guys you've all had ur fair share over the last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    lol Scotty your post might not be aimed right at my forehead, but it makes sense, and could well be.

    I duno what to say really, if I didn't sit, some other reg is on the waiting list right behind me, so yeh.....

    Im not gonna sacrifice my seat so that rats/ozzie/dylan/tommy whatever can sit where I sat. 

    Maybe they shud arrange a pool of players during the week, and give them priority, can't be hard to do.

       Hiya Scotty due to BRM i only play upto 10p/20p mainly though i play 4p/8p (which i feel at home with) & 10p/20p which i've had some success with & hope to play more regular in the New Year plus if i get some feedback on my play via TV it helps my game

    hey guuuuuuuuys.

    trying to play black ops and the deepy at same time, i dont advise this!

    CHRISTMAS - i left my lovely girlfriend down here and flew back home to wigan to be with the family!

    was worried i wasnt gona get there due to weather, as you know its been llovely!

    great story why i was there,

    playing on the Xbox kinect, playing the penalty shootout on motion sports (rubbish btw)

    have a lil run up, swing my foot at the imaginary ball! and the rug underneath me ....SLIPS!

    up in the air i go and land flat on my back, only to look at my arm and realised theres a 10" cut down it! blood everywhere lol.

    crushed my mothers poor santa ( he was the culprit who cut my arm...)

    anyway moral, dont play kinect on a rug.

    so yeah, flew back sunday....worked 2 days...flying back tomorow, with the missus! for new year.

    should be fun!

    Also id love a go at Disastermind, forgot what i need do to reg!
