Bit of a differnce of oppinon on this in the chat. I have my notes and have a good idea on this guys opening range basd on how he bets out, so happy to flat call pre flop. He's a solid player, who regulary plays this level, so i was a little disapointed in his resaoning. That said he seems decent guy...

I'm leaving my whole cards blank for the time being. But would like any coments on :

1 -what you put me on based on my actions, pre flop & post flop.
2 - what he has, based on his actions.

Cheers
Mac

He must have an overpair or a set of 9's.

With no draws, you must have a made hand or total air.......air is unlikely unless the guy is a maniac.

You haven't given any real info on the villain, so without any reads, to take your line and play as strongly as you have, you must have at least top pair, top kicker.

U cud have a set, 54, or ace 9 imo!

I think his range is wider, and stronger than yours, as you should 3 bet 99+ pre flop blind on blind.

    You could have 44/55/99/ QQ+

he could have Q9+ basically, and obviously a whole load of other hands if he folds.

Cheers guys, mostly spot on with the reads. I was surprised that he called soley because he had top pair. Probably more to do with ego, than logical reasoning. I obviously thought by my 3bet on the flop would send the message out and was happy to get the money in after he 4 bet me.

I think i played it out ok and happy for any feed back.

Cheers guys and Happy New Year
