Guys,

Anyone else having any issues with this site. Norton software identifying that the site is a threat and contains a Trojan virus.

Is this a genuine issue or is the site safe?

Funny you say that as a few weeks ago I got a real nasty Trojan virus!!

It took me hours to get rid of it, as it had slowed my laptop down soooooooooooo much!!

Around the time I had been on sharkscope alot!

I was always under the impression you only got a virus from downloading stuff??

Or is this not the case?

Probably just what they call a "false possitive"

False positives occur when a pattern of code in the file or website matches the same pattern contained in a virus signature. This can also happen if a virus scanner is unable varify a websites security certificate.

Go to the Sharkscope forum and search for Norton and they assure you that it is a false positive.  I.e. a problem with Norton and not Sharkscope.

As well as ignoring the false positive for Sharkscope, you should probably replace Norton as well, almost every other program is better than it.
