Should I be shoving pre-flop?

Hi.  Brand new to poker and finding my way, although I've been watching channel 865 for some time.

In my last two MTTs I have done okay but gone out in similar ways. The example below is from a £150 BH this morning.  I'm not worried about being out drawn on the river, but I am asking if I should have been more aggressive pre-flop - i.e. all in.  With hindsight my caller would probably have folded and I'd have lived to play another hand.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks.

Pre flop fine maybe raise to 600, what you do on the flop depends on the person who calls

this was obviously a bad time to shove the flop, 2 picture cards and you havent hit so i would not be cbetting or shoving here

welcome to the forum, good luck at the tables

    Kind regards

If it was me playing this hand i would of raised to 450 or 3 BBs, bet out just over half the pot 520/540 ish on the flop & when the king comes on the turn i would of shipped the rest !! - Not sure if your oppo would of called or not, but he shouldn't do with 3rd pair on that board !!

I definately would not be jamming it all-in pre, at the end of the day we need to create action & in bad need of a double up.

I think Jamming preflop is the best option in a bounty hunter.

They call light goody, so i disagree that we need to "create action"
