I had been sat at this table for about 45 minutes.... but the villian had only just joined the table so had no real reads on the guy. When the flop came down i put him on a queen but his betting was weak so decided to put strong raises in.... How do u think i played the hand?

I didnt like the flat calling to my raises this is y i put him on a queen with him thinking i might have the overpair... Me raise on the turn is slightly weak as i didnt quite know where i was in the hand.... Should i have put the hand down and gave up or was i right to do what i did?

I don't think many randoms are folding top pair at this level in a 3 bet pot.

I think you've over played your hand on every street.

You can't possibly narrow his range down to Qx before the turn, and when we get to the turn, he has £12 left, with £24 in the pot, he's never folding a queen at this stage.

Don't bluff fish - You have already said you put him on a Queen, so you've effectively turned a decent hand with good showdown value into a bluff, and got lucky.

Sometimes being a calling station is a good thing :)
