what was your stack cant see, if it was 1500 or less then i would prob call but if your stack was bigger then fold especially as you still have 2 players yet to act

shove every day with 10's, fold to a shove every day with 10's

    can't go far wrong

yeah i agree but in this case i would call, the blinds soon catch up with you and with 1.4k in a dym and the blinds changing to 100/200 in 5 mins or less i would go to war with my 10's

if I absolutely have to I'll call off with 10's, depending on situation- generally if I'm shortstacked, with less than 6bbs and 4/5 handed with the other players in no immediate danger.

Normally I'd be happier shoving with 7-2 with 6 bigs though than calling off with 10s. Not that I would, mind ;)

Fairly sure I'm the villain in this hand. All I will say is bear in mind that someone with 14 BBs has limped under the gun and then I've shoved over 10 BBs 2nd to act (ie still in early position). I definately think this is a fold (I won't put what you did in case you'd prefer not to reveal just yet).

I think DeucesLive has it spot on.

mmm yeah i get your point, but you know how dyms are and more often than not they end up with 4 or 5 players left with the blinds at 150/300 or 200/400 and it becomes a lottery anyway, so i would still call but i guess thats just the gambler in me!

    Standard Dym fold here Bluffy.

Gotta get those chips in first m8

Deuces is 100% correct, apart from the bit where he says he wouldnt shove with 72!:) he would, obv!

haha, well then perhaps i should be taking this advice on board too! i can't argue with shanxta who i reg play in dyms and is a top player, as well as greg, deuces and jc who are also well known very decent players, prob best to ignore my posts ibluff lol how did the hand pan out?

better than 10's I reckon, you're in a race at absolute best and that's always a -EV spot in dyms if you can avoid it

Up to him if he wants to reveal of course, but I think he turns over JJ+/AQ+.

I'd rather be shoving an unentered pot with 23o than calling in this spot Bluffy.

dnt get me wrong, there will be some spots where calling with tens with a ~1400 stack vs certain players i know at the £5 / £10 levels will be right (well in my opinion anyway)

jus not vs this oppo in this spot

i wonder if you mean me lol

Ye i agree, i think having reads/notes on opponants calling/shoving ranges is very important in dyms.

yea its a fold. The biggest factor for me was JC's comment... he's shoved over a limper, this to me is pretty strong with a stack that size so it's unlikely you are better than flipping and could well be crushed. Find a spot and open shove soon after.

I noticed that Gliterbabe said to call when this was shown on the poker clinic.

The hand JC had was 77.

I still think a fold is the correct play in a dym.

i would call here 5 handed with tens i would fold with 88 and it would be borderline with 99, if we was 4 handed id prolly fold, i dont play these sngs so you guys know better than me but i just think i would be in good shape here alot of the time, out of interest would JCs shoving range in this spot be any pp aq+? or could it be a lil wider?
so with 1400 chips im calling here
