Haven't had my laptop that long really (no more than a year) and the mousepad is wearing down! Anyone else had this with a laptop?

    like the others said - get a mouse! and how do we know its poker you've been logging onto excessively, it may be those one handed sites lol!

    I've gone through about 5 quality mice (the feet wear away or come unstuck).

    Not all of this was due to poker though, I used to be an uber geek playing online war games.

    You're clearly not playing enough poker Banana_Dog. Please try harder in future or I'll have no choice but to put you in detention. I bought my laptop in Jan 2010;

    lol looney....remember im not a lad like you lot so i wouldnt be wearing it down doing that!
    A mouse is a good idea but at the mo I'm on one of them little round glass laptop tables that only fits a laptop so might have to think about getting a computer desk at some point then.
    Glad it's not just mine doing that though, was a little worried cos the hubby and kids laptops are older than mine and are perfect! lol

    Women do usually wear down these things quicker than us men though. Usually due to various chemicals from cosmetics etc.

    we got a table from ikea for 15 quid, its big enough for a 15 inch lappy and a moues pad, slants at a 30 degree agle if ya want and adjusts up and down to fit over the sofa arms or on the bed, and no i dont work for ikea lol.

    lol Gary you are the winner and I don't feel so panicked about my laptop now after seeing yours! haha
    Dohhhh, that is funny...I must say since my mate gave me this lucky cats eye bracelet for xmas and then I went on a big winning run I haven't dared take it off which is dead stupid cos I don't believe in any of that...maybe the video has a point? lol
    What about lucky nail varnish? Got it today and it feels lucky! haha
