Live cash game interesting spot.

OK at a live cash game tonight, 10p/20p blinds. I sat down with £20 about 4 hands in this happens in this happens.


SB - £14.20
BB - £14.90 
Hero - £19.40
MP - £15.00
CO - £10
BTD - £22.80

SB post SB for 10p
BB posts BB for 20p
Hero straddles to 40p
MP straddles to 80p

Hero looks down at Ac9c

CO folds
BTN calls
SB folds
BB calls
Hero raises to £2.40

MP calls
BTN calls
BB calls

Flop - 8c9hQc

BB checks
Hero raises £4.20
MP calls
BTN calls
BB folds

Turn - Qd

Hero checks
MP checks
BTN checks

River - 2s

Hero checks
MP checks
BTN bets £8.90

What should hero do.


Players in hand. MP is very loose passive. and BTN is loose aggressive. Literally both could have any two cards. However MP never bluffs, and usually would bet the turn with a Q or TJ or any 9. I can rule out an 8 in his range as he'd have folded the flop. 

The BTN however is a little more tricky and may have smething like Qx or TJ or a FH very easy with this kind of play.

    BTN was not seated before the hand started so his hand is null and void.

    don't straddle when only 100bb deep. 

    also hate your raise size here.  like 4.20 minimum you are never getting folds at 2.40 and A9 is such a sucky hand to play OOP post flop.  make up the 80p IMO with a nut making hand in a pub game.

    sigh i dunno like most of the time i call but depends on if you can reload and wait for a better spot for nearly 100bb.  thing is on this kinda board all the hands that we beat should have some kind of 2pr option too so he prob checks back.  he wound't vbalue bet J9 for example. w e're ahead of KJ/KT basically.

    they may not be exactly write however i mind alot of button raises getting through, was odd for the opponents i was playing. So i calculated as close as i could.
