HU hand - is this just standard?

NL4 early days and i think ive had the better of this exchange. I started with £4 to my opponents £26 which he already had on table.

Hes raising light and i decided to just flat with the A3os, waiting for a better spot to 3-bet, i flop trips and c/r obiosuly its a flushing board so therefore want to make him pay for a draw but keep him interested in the hand. The turn comes a K which i think is a great card because no obviously KQ type hands will pay me off and in it goes.

Opinions please.

i would fold pre, if he has an ace your in trouble if he dosnt and you flop an ace i doubt you get any action, also i wouldnt sit a table were the opponent has a 6/1 chip advantage....i guess it would be fun at these stakes tho

I think it's all totally standard.

    Folding an ace is crimi-nail.

so basically you fold, this specific hand your against j10 & people will do with similar eg. q10 or k10 so defo worth call on my books unless you have specific reads they only raise with ace then maybe a fold

Or call with any 2, and bet/raise/re-raise any board that doesn't contain an ace.

    fold or raise pre imo

believing you have an edge on someone doesn't mean you should start playing super marginal hands oop.

    Whaaaat?

If he ONLY ever raises with Ace x - then when he opens, he's showing one of his cards to you.

How can playing v him with any 2 cards here be "spewy"

Easy wud be a better adjective.

if he only ever opens with Ax you wouldnt need to play vs his opens because you would own him anyway

if hes opening 75% of his range a3o has about 52% equity  and the fact your oop doesnt need alot of working out guys

well if Dons going to hit n run him then nothing, i just think he will make bad mistakes if he gets deep, ok i know its only micro but you could argue that because this guy is still sat at this table 600 bbs that he might have an idea of what he is doing or running super hot and there could be a better table to sit at, no offence Don

I get what your saying mate, i had watched the previous game and felt i had an edge on both players on the table. There was lots of odd shoves and calls. I admit if i got half the money on the table i was off.
