Now, a lot of things to consider but please play along.

What If.............................

Two players HU on a 50p £1 table

Both players start with exactly £100.

Both players are all in every hand and every hand is a split pot

How long before the rake cleans a player out???

I know it is virtually impossible for this scenario to happen, but like I said, What if????

Just a bit of fun but these things keep sad people awake at nights

The rake is set at 5% of the pot for this level, and the maximum rake per pot is £1 for HU so that would decrease the total table monies (£200) by £1 per pot, even if it was not shared! That would be for 72 hands then it starts getting complicated, see table below.
    Pot SizeRake  £0.20 £0.01 £0.40 £0.02 £0.60 £0.03 £0.80 £0.04 £1.00 £0.05 £2.00 £0.10 £3.00 £0.15 £6.00 £0.30 £9.00 £0.45 £12.00 £0.60 £15.00 £0.75 £18.00 £0.90
Obviously in normal games of hu many pots go uncontested before flop, and many pots would below £6 so the rake would be <30p each hand. I personally dont go near HU cash, its not worth it until you get to the big money buy ins as the rake kills you. £50 rake loss in a £2000 table is minimal, £50 on a £200 is massive, so stick to the 6 seaters!
