Bad Beat or Bad Play?

Just recently joined sky and this is the first time I've posted my hand on the clinic.I've been playing for about an hour on this table and being doing ok, then get AK suited.Was just wondering if i should have played this hand any different .

    Cheers was pritty nervous to be honest posting the hand, with been new and all. Thanks alot anyway so when i get a beat like this i just say 'thats how the cookie crumbles'.

    You played it fine.

    BUT. It might not have happened had you have played with a full stack.

    Being so short gives you less leverage for getting your opponent off of his hand.

    And when you go below the maximum, top-up.

    The more money/chips you have, the more you are able to make moves/get value for good hands/outplay opponents.

    So yep, always play with the max.
