Master Cash & Middle Age (***OFFICIAL LIVE SHOW THREAD***)

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen...

I'm fighting through the mucus to bring you live poker on channel 865 between 9pm and 1am.  It's Saturday - and that means it's three hours of Master Cash, followed by the show with the best theme music on television, Top of the Pots!

Ed Giddins will be the analyst in residence.  We'll be dropping by the 10p/20p and 25p/50p tables, before moving up the limits for some Cash 300 awesomeness.  We'll also take you live to Manchester where Tikay will be providing updates on the latest action from the GUKPT.

All questions and comments should be directed to skyopen@bskyb.com or posted in this forum thread.  On the day we focus on Sky Poker's cash tables AND a major UK tournament, I'd like you to complete the following sentences:

* The best thing about on-line poker is...

* The best thing about live poker is...

And how about a fun topic to boot?  Earlier, I bought a shed for the garden and took an afternoon nap.  In my opinion, these two incidents provide indisputable proof that I've reached middle age!

So, what are the other key signs that your best years are behind you?  Complaining about the weather?  Listening to Radio 2?  Laughing at a Michael McIntyre joke?  Let's make a list :)

    I REALIZED WHEN I WAS MIDDLE AGED AGE WAS WHEN I WAS 19 AND STARTED WATCHING ED GIDDINS TRY AND PLAY CRICKET ( ABOUT THE SAME TIME I LOST MY HAIR) STARTED GETTING OLD AT 25 WHEN I HAD MY HIP DONE, BUT RATHER THAN A REPLACEMENT BROKE MY THIGH BONE AND TURNED IT ROUND SO THE BACKSIDE IS NOW ON THE FRONT ( HOPE I`V NOT PUT ANYONE OFF THEIR CHINESE )

    You know your middle aged when your era of music has being relegated to a 'themed bar'. Saw a 90s bar the other week and was heart broken. Made me feel old at 26! Guess i'm going to die young if middle aged now, so a small mercy :)

    Hi guys. Looking foreward to a great show as always.

    The best thing about playing poker online.... is that i can wear/not wear what i like and no-one complains.

    Never played live so.... no comment.

    Proof that you've reached middle age.... when you get called 'sir' in shops,pubs etc.

    * The best thing about live poker is... You can drink more alcohol when you've made a stupid decision.

    *  proof that you've reached middle age!...  Is when you find early sunday evening tv entertaining (not counting channel 865 of course)

    Best thing about online poker is one can get good at it with very few tells.

    best thing about live poker is   if they are not diquiising there tells its like they are saying... I like you take my chips

    The best thing about online poker is the amount of easy money that can be made all day, every day.

    The best thing about live poker, is probably the same thing, but I'm yet to see or try it for myself.

    I think you are officially middle aged when you get married, and/or start worrying about your health.

    spdbrkr can't get in touch, he's not watching the show. He doesn't pay for a TV license, he doesn't own a TV as both are a waste of money. He doesn't even own a laptop, nor does he have any electricity in his house, he goes round to his mates to play and save on leccy bills.

    THATS HOW TIGHT HE IS !!!!!

    Enjoying the show guys.

    But could you call Ayr Graeme his correct name rather than arr Graeme.

    Ayr is a town in Scotland!

    Giddins is tilting me by calling him arr Graeme like a scouser.
