Don't think I would be calling at this stage in a DYM mate.  If the guy has an overpair your dead, and if he has 2 overcards your still not an overwhelming favourite.

In a DYM I'd be close to snap folding preflop, with 2.5k your above average and simple don't have to play a hand. As for flop with the call your only beating a 2 or air which is pretty hard to read imo.

DUDESKIN AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE,i did say i put the guy on a big ace,so when i got my chips in i was in front.
with out reads, and putting people on hands ,ud be folding 90% of flops.
You have got ask yourself why would he be pushing all in on such a flop.if u have an 8 what would this accomplish.
would u push all in with an over pair, always a chance that some 1 might have an eight.
would u push all in to try and steal .
    most likely play.
when we show iam in front, and a slight fav to win.
now u said u would hav prob snap fold, pre, but thats not the question, its about the call after the flop.
now if u think you are in front, would u fold.As you know you are facing two overs.

Yeah but as Dudeskin stated, this is a DYM, no need to risking your stack on basically a gamble, objective is to survive.

If it was a standard SnG then sure nice call, ul as your going for the win.

I just dont think this call in the long run in DYM's at that blind level is a good one.

It's certainly a risky play by villain as he's shoving 2k odd into 1k odd but I still don't like the call as your basically praying he has air which isn't always gonna be the case.

For me DYM's are ALL about risk aversion, ducking and diving etc, staying afloat, no need to play for the win as it's top 3 paid. You can never ever KNOW what your facing your purely guessing based on what you've previously seen an opponant do and working out how likely it is he has a certain range, 2 overs are in the range but so are a LOT of pairs imo.
