Monday PTP = Much of the same!

I enjoyed last week's trio of tournaments, so will be entering the same events tonight:

19:15  £500 Deep Stack
20:30  Take on Tikay / Have a Go at Hartigan
21:00  £2,000 Team Sky Poker Classic

I hope you're able to register for one or more of the above.  Alternatively, I'll be playing some low-stakes Omaha cash later in the evening, so maybe we'll meet at the PLO tables?  I'll use this forum thread to let you know where I am.

And, don't forget, there's only one week to go until the start of my new Monday-night tournament league, the details of which can be found...

    you should join dtwbandits DTD last longer comp too james, it's always a good laugh, tough field as well!

    With less than 15 minutes to go, 9 players have registered for the £500 Deep Stack.

    Here's hoping we can get enough entrants to fill four tables!

    We've reached the first break in the £500 Deep Stack.

    I've been up...I've been down...I've been up...and I'm currently down.

    I have a stack of 3,940 - 15th out of 17 players.  But I still have 49bbs, so I'm not complaining!

    Meanwhile, there's no sign of Tikay, so the 20:30 tournament is now officially a HAGAH event :)

    BOOM!

    I just took down the £500 Deep Stack!!!

    When I started playing on Sky Poker in mid-2009, the £22 buy-in Monday night deepie quickly became my favourite tournament.

    I've made the final table a few times - finishing second twice.  But this is the first time I've won it :)

    Keeping my head above water in the TSP Classic.

    Very short (37th out of 37 players), so it may be PLO time soon!

    Hi this is the first time i have been on community always watch the show and have only been playing since nov. Just played take on tikay my first real tournament other than a few freerolls would just like to say enjoyed it v much came 9th and will def be part of the next one !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    To quote The Four Seasons, "Oh what a night..."

    After my success in the Deep Stack came an unbelievable run of luck (including some really sick suck-outs) in the TSP Classic.  I made the final table and finished third behind _ratters_ and lJAMESl (I've a feeling this final table MIGHT make it onto TV).

    Mr Murdoch will be VERY happy with the double boost to my bankroll this evening and will no doubt forgive me for losing £3 at the PLO8 table :)

    Anyway, I'll be back next Monday for the first week of the ARL.

    Oh, and expect a new blog tomorrow.
