Could i have played different? Did the Villain take a punt or have right odds to call with J7 off?

Villain did take a punt at seeing a flop-but at decent odds-paying £175 to win £675 most players will take them odds.As it turns out the cards beat you and he got lucky but with every right to see the flop.Cant invisage you playing it any differently to be fair just one of those things.Think we should be questioning the calls with pocket 6s from player A tho!!

Would be interesting to know whether this was a generally loose table? A little context would be good. I'm assuming this is a MTT and I think it's Level 2?

He has the odds to call pre flop and early in MTT you'll get a lot of this kind of calling. Your raise to 4 bigs isn't large enough for me, I would maybe go 6.

Post flop, what did you think he had? Not sure I would be folding the QQ anyway. So other than raising more pre-flop there's not really much you could have done.

I think if player A hadn't have called my raise post flop, would have probably called the villain's all-in, so they saved me some chips.

It was a 1.15 DYM Sit and Go, level 3. Nothing much had happened for me to think it was a loose table. A7 was a hand i thought the villain or player A could have had, maybe even A2, ace's and king's also crossed my mind. Player A's call post flop stopped me from calling the all-in.

That's pretty good reasoning on your part, and a good laydown.
