Two Freerolls have been slotted into today's schedule, as follows.....

2pm - £100 Guaranteed, NO POKER POINTS needed to enter.

5pm - £200 Guaranteed, NO POKER POINTS needed to enter.

Why today?

Dunno.

Maybe the Freerolls have been introduced to celebrate that on this day in 1830, Robert Arthur Talbot Gascoyne-Cecil was born.

Or, on this day in 1959, Buddy Holly died in a plane crash.

Or, on this day in 1989, dozens of villages were evacuated in Russia in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster.

You got any better ideas of why? If so, Post them here.

But enter the Freerolls first, right?

    could be something to do with this Tikay

    4 Beyer Garratt  steam locomotives of classes NGG 13 & 16 re-imported into the UK from South Africa.
    #No. 87 built by Cockerill works No 3267 built 1937 has been sold for use on the Welsh Highland Railway in Wales and moved to Portmadoc on 3 February 2006. It returned to regular service in 2009.

    Some excellent suggestions already, keep them coming please.

    Despite only going up shortly before it started, the 2pm jobbie got 506 runners.

    How many do you think the 5pm one will get?

    And what time do you think the 5pm Freeroll is due to start?
