First hand in a DYM so no hand history.

I was not sure what to put him on but thought it likely he held a K Q or J so had to lay it down.

Any suggestions?

bet close to 180 on the button, if u succeed in getting heads-up, c bet flop giving up if he calls as its too early to get jiggy, u probably going to lose the same amount but this way u gonna win the pot on the flop most of the time.....

    Thanks for the replies.

Be more aggressive and ask the question.

    Cheers

level 1 in a dym flatting a 3x in pos with tens is fine - we are not playing ftw, just to survive

don't raise 'to ask a question'

betting the flop is not too horrible IMO, but when you do, you have to shut down on the turn

Thanks ... Another good suggestion of how to play it.

You are right that it is survival to last 3 not to win. So perhaps the 3 bet cash or MTT.

During the first 2 levels in DYM its fine to flat a small preflop raise with any low/medium pair to set mine, but when you miss and there's an overcard don't put any more chips in a multiway pot.
