sand-bagging

I think the term is sand-bagging but i could be wrong. Just wanted your opinions on this. The way i play these cowboys has worked quite well in the past but not this time. My thought process of doing this is two-fold.
1. I get to look at the flop and see whether an ace appears without committing a lot of my stack, and
2. I get a lot worse hands to go all in on j and q high flops than i would by raising and re-raising pre.

Will I get more value thinking i have the second best hand and trying to get the money in pre or do you think this way will make and save more money in the long run?

with QQ i can see maybe seeing a flop first to see the texture, but with KK, unless you have v.strong reads on your opponent, I'd look to get it in pre, he could be 3 betting with pocket 10's and hit a 10, where as if you push pre and end it, youll win a small pot but nevertheless, you wont lose anything. So like i said, i think this is good if you know your opponent, how good they are etc.., but if youre playing a randomer, I'd just 4 bet and hope to get it in.

every once in a while i like flatting with KK but the vast majority of the time i would be 4betting. i also would just flat call the flop btw

    I'm with Lol.

Flatting the 3-bet in position with KK or AA can be a good play on occassion.

This is just unlucky. The same might well have happened had you 4-bet anyway. But this way you could have got him to think AQ or even KQ could be good.
