wouldn't normally advocate overbetting pot with the goods outside of NL4 and *maybe* NL8. It's a bit of a scary board with the bad end of straight- if a K or Q comes your straight suddenly looks totally borked, not to mention diamonds. So I do understand- but I think a pot bet is better here. Flop raise was nice though.

just thought with 6 in the middle already potting it on the turn might just bring along str and flush draws, hence going more.

    Other extreme Pod lad.

Just 5 quid-ish - you can still fold if the river comes the 9 of diamonds.

How do you flop the nuts so often??? It's insane.

Yes that bet on the turn is a bit extreme, you are frightening off anything that would have stayed in to give you value and are only getting called/raised by one of the two hands that beat you. I like the raise size on the flop tho.

Dohhhhhhh the idiot end of the straight is NOT the nuts! lol.

It looks like wobbly legs has been reading the clinic and copying you with his bet sizing!!!!

20% of the pot on the flop with the nuts.

25% of the pot on the river with the nuts.

    And a check inbetween.

Yeh be careful on paired boards, once he flats the flop, and it comes a diamond, the only realistic hand that he could fold is the same hand as you have, ten jack.....You aren't folding out much that beats you, a weak queen maybe, but you have alot of outs to go ahead of that kinda hand, just take your card.....

Good sizing on the turn if you had the nuts tho ;)

Edit. re the 77 hand, I said ones where you don't flop the nuts!!!!!!!!!! How do u do it?

Jeez, that is some spewy river bet.

Dohhhhhhh woulda been proud of that!

I think to give up on the turn would be best, because once he calls your flop reraise you must put him on the K or Q.

When he bets out on the river, as his first agressive action, he has to have something fairly strong imo. So, with your flush, on that board, it is a flat call on the river imo! er, or a fold!
