How can you Call???

If i'm reading the hand right you checked behind on the flop having taken the lead pre-flop. He obviously took this to mean you didn't have a K or Q so when no further over cards came on the turn or river he figured he could be good.

You shove the third diamond (which i'm guessing was an over bet to the pot). Would you shove slow played aces or a set on a flushed board? probably not. Would you shove the flush? he obviously doesn't think so and figures you for a bluff and calls.

Either he has a read on you, or this is his default play against an over bet.

Take note and overbet next time against them when you actually have the nuts.
