    It wasnt FTW though, was it? It was a satellite and the point of a satellite is survival. Unnecessary risk to make the call, especially with the 6s on board.

    yes ofc it is, but if you're gonna fold that early in cheap satellites, don't play them.

    normally he doubles up, then can coast to the bubble with ease. If he folds there, he still has to find his double up opportunity, and is unlikely to find one that's as good as that.;

    In an ideal world we get 3 people shove into us whilst we're holding quads. Sadly, that doesn't often happen. So we take what we can get.

    A paired board and 2 clubs on the flop. I'm not sure thats a great double up opportunity and this is early in the sat. Plenty of time to find a good spot.
