THE ALL-ROUNDERS' LEAGUE - WEEK 3

This is an important week for the ARL...

After tonight, we'll be at the half-way mark. There'll have been two No Limit Hold'em tournaments and one Pot Limit Omaha event. If you've played all three, you'll finally have a "true" score in the league table (which you can improve over the next three weeks). And we'll all have a genuine idea of who's in the running to win one of the five fantastic prizes.

So, what is this evening's tournament?

19:30 £5+£0.50 No Limit Hold'em Rebuy (2,000 chips / 10 min blinds)

It's highlighted in the lobby. You can also register HERE.

If you're an ARL newcomer, it isn't too late to join the league. All the details you need can be found HERE.

23 players registered - with more than two hours to go.

I'll be on the site from 7pm.  As usual, I'll be playing some low-stakes Omaha cash, in addition to the 19:30 ARL tournament.

It's unlikely I'll enter the TSP Classic, but you never know.  Actually, you will know, because if I change my mind I'll tell you!

Sorry I'm late, people.  To quote Tim Robbins in 'The Player', "Traffic was a bi tch!"

Anyhoo, I'm now sat at Lewisham - 5p/10p PLO cash table.

With 10 minutes to go...42 players have registered for the ARL event.

Small field = great opportunity to score some good league points :)

And just noticed only 5 minutes in that Tikay is down to 600 chips..?? Did the blinds start at 800/400 on his table?

It's true, I did. And I never realised it was a Rebuy until you came to the Table to mock me!

Now, 15 mins later, I'm virtually Chip Leader.

By virtually, you mean "in the bottom half of the leaderboard!"

I should clarify, that's the shirt of mine that you're wearing.

That was not an invite for you to take off the shirt I'm currently wearing!

Sorry, are you a Richard Orford impersonator?

    How tragic!

    We're at the first break...

I took a re-buy early on to double my starting stack - and have just taken the add-on.

So, I'll be coming back with a stack of 7,050 (47bbs).

I am. There's not much call for one admittedly, but I get the occasional bring-and-buy sale.

I actually get more work than the real thing.

So, is my shirt back in the locker? Or are you avoiding the subject?
