    they aint all brags clio! plus so many people (including myself) get slated for bad beat stories, its nice to get feedback on good hands as well as bad, every hand i have put up could have been played better!

    Lets be honest you got really lucky to get paid here! should be getting money into the pot for when/if you hit, otherwise your just hoping you hit and that they've made some sort of hand.

    He got paid off because he bet flop and turn.....

    However, I wouldn't have bet the turn once the board pairs, I'd check behind, I can still get a street of value if I get there on the river, the pot is built enough to make a chunky value bet.

    And if I miss, I can check behind knowing A high is good against some weaker flush draws and JQ.

    Not folding out much on the turn, and he's unlikely to bluff the river with worse than A high as these guys r rly passive, so our play otr is gonna be easy whatever card comes.

    difference is with donkey's hand is the guy had top pair at least. the other guy wouldnt have called down the streets with 3rd pair. well, he could do, but i doubt it.

    absolute lol at not betting the flop with that hand. Srsly what goes through your head when you flop a royal flush draw? "WOW I MUST CHECK I ONLY HAVE QUEEN HIGH, THEN WHEN I HIT MY ROYAL FLUSH I HAVE A POT OF £1.05 TO BET INTO YAAAY"

    If I see 'thevole' at any cash table in the future I shall be seating myself to his left. But tbf his 2 pair is huge to the river 4-bet.

    its not come out well.  i did iso pre and did make an easy call on the flop.

    posted the hand to show the poor standard of thevole to show how op got paid off on the river and how there was possibly more value to be had by betting more streets.

    sorry for butchering the thread with awful hand post.  anyway a mod can clear it up?
