even if i small bet it jj (and pos let him in) and he goes over the top of me on "turn" can i really put him on 67, then what do i do then. rather put the decision on him.

your risking £19 to take down 1.80 your thinking is terrible, bet the turn for value as there are plenty of worse hands/draws that call if you get raised you can re-**** and play some poker, personally i wouldn't even bother completing that hand pre

£23 into £1.80? Your only getting called by a hand that beats you..

pod i know it was only 10 pence in the small blind to see a flop but this is where i think you went wrong in this hand, just get rid of this type of junk mate.I know someone who plays on here who could do with following the advice i have just given you,i will name and shame this guy.

    It is of course Spikelad.

I wanna play the games ur playin!!!!

I really am tryin to find any logic in ur shove but seriously i couldnt find any, it just dont make any sense at all mate. i dont undertsand do u want to be called or not? are u tryin to get the guy to fold? the fact u seem to defend ur play worries me tbh! imo if ur postin in the clinic (ive seen quite a few of your posts) then try and listen to advice given because otherwise in future when u post stuff ppl wont bother replyin.

dont mean to sound harsh but its just my opinion, but u can learn if u are prepared to listen. i get the feeling u have posted this hand believin in ur head u played it well and wanted to show us some sort of bad beat/cooler. when in reality u have played it really not gooood.

listen to some of the guys here, they know wot there talkin about!

hi rated, tnx for posting, firstly can i just say, i have no problem with taking advice, you know how many i have posted on here, loads!! the first 90% of them were to do with a massive leak i had in my game and that was to do with by bet sizing being way way way to small and not making the money i should be. this particalar hand i put up was for a couple of reasons. 1) to show i think i gone too far to the likes of nick ,jj and dude who have been helping with my "said" problem.2) i have been accused of putting up the odd "bragging" hand, and this was to show i have no problem in putting up badly played ones. of coarse i played it wrong even my daughter Knows that and she is 7!!!( learning the game quite well might i add). for you to think that i thought i played it well to be fair is quite insulting. at no point in this thread was i trying to justify the play i was trying to explain my thinking behind it, ie i wanted to take the hand down there and then and "if" he was on a flush or str draw he was going to have to pay for it!! hence the title of this thread. yes massive  fail, yes badly played hence why i put it up!   phil
