Competition Thread: NBC Heads-up Champs - Pick the Winner! [Winners unveiled!]

Yeah, easy right? ;)

This weekend is the NBC National Heads-up Championship where 64 of the best players in the world play a knockout heads-up tournament to crown a champion. To win one of THREE seats to Tuesday night's Take on Tikay, all you need to do is tell us who you think will win and why! Correct entries will then be judged, with the best reasons giving the three winners their chance to take on Tikay. Winners will be PMed and announced on this thread, as well as on the Sky Poker Facebook page.

Then, once you've done that, get on here and give us a bit of banter on why you've chosen your man (or woman) to win the tourney and then brag shamelessly should you get it right.

    He's got a solid track record in the event for sure. Sam Trickett is a good shout too - the guy is on a massive heater at the moment.

    Last Year I was there, got a couple of pics with Joe Cada and Dario Minieri

    Erik Siedel was runner up to Annie Duke, good shout

    Gone for Jennifer Harman.  Like a few poker players (allegedly) I've got a little thing for her,even if there is an unidentified age gap.

    I reckon Huckleberry Seed will plant his name onto the NBC heads up trophy, this is because he has recently returned to the roots of his game which was so prominent during the early steams his of his career.

    Gone with Patrik Antonius, altho like Daniel Cates but hes got ivey in his first match.

    Saw the table of matches, if durr wins his first game he plays either benyamine or hellmuth. really hope for a durr hellmuth rematch.

    I would have picked Sam too but he is in the same group as Phil Ivey who owned him the last time they played, so I've gone for Ivey.
