Last night I played online here, and was sat with someone, who I suspected was using performance enhancing drugs. I didnt report them at the time, as I didnt really know the procedure, or Sky`s policy on this.
Obviously, in most other sports and games, these performance enhancing drugs or whatever you want to call them are banned, and discovery of any of these will lead to disqualification.
I do not, and doubt most others agree with certain players gaining an unfair advantage over the rest of us, who choose to keep our bodies clean of it.
I would like to know what Skys stance is on this issue, and what, if any steps they are taking to ensure this does not happen, or if it does, what penalties these abusers will incur.
Maybe if we suspect someone using these narcotics/steroids we could report them and they could be monitored by sky.

That's me done for then , cant beat a bit of Viagra whilst your playing
Surely making a rediculous assumption deserves a breath test at least.
This is a wind-up
(You can't scare me.....I've got kids)
I'll get me coat
Obviously no-one NEEDS performance enhancing drugs to play poker, as they dont NEED to take them for any other game or sport, but choose to do so to gain an unfair advantage.
I expect ppl like bennydip and other SOLID MEMBERS of this community are not using, its just as usual a few that spoil it
I know this because when chess was pushing for sports status in the eyes of the Olympic Committee, they were told they would have to drug test all chess players at major tournaments and one player failed after having a cuppa. It was a ridiculous situation.
Personally, I don't mind if the guy on the other side of the net connection is wired using Red Bull/coffee/whatever. The downside to whacking that stuff hard in a bid to gain an infinitesimal edge is just not worth it. There's also the case of how you would ever actually go about 'dope testing' online poker players. Ask them to pop a sample in the post or something? Email it? Never going to happen.
Disclaimer: These views are very much my own and are not those of Sky Poker. Interpret them that way, please. Ta.
The real danger here is that this becomes a serious thread. Mr Mahony must have wet himself by now.
Online? There's no way of knowing if they do, & if there were, there is nothing that can be done about it.
But the fact is, they play worse, not better, when taking drugs, so it's their problem, not ours. I've seen scores of players in Live Poker doing drugs, but they all go skinto, sooner reather than later.
BIZZARE POST !!!
hehe, I must have too much time on my hands, small things amuse small minds and all that. ; )
