Why can you not buy in on the day for the Sky Open in Cardiff this summer? I play as a member of the casino, Les Croupiers and regularly play in the weekly tourament at the casino.I have been looking forward to playing in the tourney but have just found out about this. There are regularly 80+ people playing weekly, why can we not play in this tourney?

Hi Gramps,
The Sky Poker Tour is designed for players who play regularly on Sky Poker, but we welcome new players at all of our Events.
Sky Poker will allocate 5 Seats to Les Croupiers for a Live Super-Satellite, or you can qualify by signing up to Sky Poker.com, & winning your seat, like all the other players.
Les Croupiers have effectively hired their venue to Sky Poker for the day, but we'd welcome any local players. Hope to see you there.
The Event will sell-out 4 or 6 weeks in advance, hence we have to restrict Entries as above.
i think this is because it is a sky tourny for sky players
and the only buyins are the proity club and team skypoker
its to allow all players a chance rather than the first ones with the spare cash
i do think sky is very fare with this and its right that seats have to be won
just my opion
More news asap.
The preceding Leg is at Leeds, on May 7th, so probably May 9th, for Cardiff on July 23.
It's likely that all the available Seats will be gone within 2 to 3 weeks - most SPT's sell out well inside a month, & Cardiff will be especially popular, as we have a lot of Welsh players.
