I poker stoved a reasonable range for the villian Vs your hand
TT Vs AJs+ AQo+ 77+ = 50/50
1 to isolate him and get rid of any other hands
if he is tilting then you will double up.
wtf at his stupid 3bet sizing that he tilted me all day with. I folded most hands but never had a hand as good at TT facing it, which I'd prolly shove just to stick it in his dumb eye
1. there are no other hands
2. you can't double up as you have twice the stack of the villain
3. with TT you're either a small favourite (against AQ say) or a massive dog (against an overpair).
Also, against an unknown it's probably a shove. But against a known player I'm not convinced it's a shove. If you're sure you can skin the villain slowly, then why not do that? Why give him the chance to land one big punch?
This reasoning probably demonstrates perfectly why I don't play heads-up!
