For those of you who enjoy a decent structured tournament with a decent prizepool on the saturday 26th march starts the linked poker tournament that will be held simultaneously at the g-casino in sheffield and the g-casino in newcastle. both start the same day at the same time. the tournament is a £200 freezeout with a starting stack of 15,000 chips and there will be 10 x 45 minute blind levels. 90 minute alternates.

when level 10 is reached the chips are bagged and the final is held the next day at the g-casino sheffield, so the players from newcastle will make their way down to sheffield. play for the final day starts at 3pm sunday 27th march.

i imagine there will be a good 200+ runners plus however many alternates join in and £3000 will be added to the final prizepool so i expect the 1st prize to be quite a hefty amount of money. 

15,000 chips, 45 min clock. cant really ask for a greater amount of play. 

just thought id post for people looking to play an event like this in the next couple of weeks.

    If i'd had my usual ammount of work on since christmas i'd have entered that. Sounds like a great structure. Alas i'm skint so i'll have to give it a miss.
