We play home games quite often and I was just wondering If anybody would be able to tell me a good starting stack amount/ blind structure for a 6 seat hold em no limit game thanks :)

    I had a home game last Saturday and I had 20 min blinds - 3000 starting chips. Lasted about 5/6 hrs.

    25 - 50
    50 - 100
    75 - 150
    100 - 200
    BREAK
    125 - 250
    150 - 300
    150 - 300 (25)
    200 - 400 (25)
    BREAK
    250 - 500 (50)
    300 - 600 (50)
    350 - 700 (75)
    400 - 800 (75)
    BREAK
    450 - 900 (100)
    500 - 1k (100)
    550 - 1.1K (125)
    600 - 1.2k (125)

    My home games don't last much beyond this. It's slow enough to play well, fast enough to get through in one night.

    Sounds about right exleper!

    If you are running out of time make the blinds a bit faster or up the ante!
