Prizes are way off. No way can a "cash" be half the buy-in. So £20,000 would be minimum prize. 100 runners would pay 10 places only.

i know its alot but over the time its running and the chance of adding to your stack as well as the lowwer buy-ins i think it would be reached

it would need 100 in the final to hit the gtd but with that sort of prize i think it would go well and bring new player to the site and put sky up there with the bigger sites

i think it would reach the gtd over the time

It's a fun idea, but there's nowhere near enough traffic here for Sky to risk such a big guarantee.

I don't think Sky has the traffic to get this going. Look at the vegas satelites, there is a trip of a lifetime up for grabs and the final gets 10-20 runners a month. Think you need to stick to the big US sites for this im afraid.

it would be 1054 entrys into the
£2.60 sat a day for a year thats just in 1 sat

if you take the other games that are on offer and if advertised right the trafic would come (or for the film lovers out there 'if you build it they will come' lol)

this is just my idea for a good tourny and i do belive that if marketed right sky would grow to a new level
i belive the site trafic will increase by far and that it would go well but thats just my oppinion

i know it would be alot to put down but i belive the rewards would be better than the risks...again just my oppinion

it would be 24 sats a day min max would be 40

as for the step games it would be like dym games so should be able to handle it

if sky are looking to improve and get new players to take the site forward then they are going to have to start getting out there with bigger games....i belive that this would put them up there and would overtake alot of the comp which is good for us all

Sorry I don't mean to dampen down the idea but I really can't see people playing sats 12 months in advance. If you look at the sites that run a million mtt every week the take-up is slow until the day of the mtt and then it goes manic. All the sats would pile up near the date and with the current Sky set up it just wouldn't cope with the number of sats needed to hit the guarantee. 

The big sites have progressed to these huge prize pools over a number of years. I remember when $50k a week and a $100k mtt once a month was the order of the day. 

£100k as a monthly mtt with sats throughout the month might be feasable though.

TBH, I don't agree with all the points CKD makes and it is a very ambitious GTD BUT...

Would it have mass appeal? OFC - who doesn't wanna win 300K +!! 

So in short, people are writing that it wouldn't work and stuff and it needs tweaking (I am one of them) your absolutely correct probably due to traffic issues on SKY but why not be ambitious - CKD has designed a tournament idea that he thinks will appeal to the masses and that tbf is his (and everyone else's) brief - I doubt it will win but If I were voting I would vote for his idea to win and then let the SKY peeps to do their job and tweak it so that it would work.

i know it needs abit of work and i can see what peoples points are with it and thank every1 for there imput.....i can just see it working and working well if its done right.......would be nice to see it up just to see if it did do well
