Tonight, I plan to play the £100 Freezeout at G-Luton, starting at 8pm.

HALF of anything I win will be donated to a Freeroll on Sky Poker next week. 

That Freeroll will ONLY be open to players who......
 
1) Play tonight's "Take-on-tikay" £5.50 Rebuy on SkyPoker.

2) Post their name in this thread BEFORE 8.30pm tonight.

It's that simple. Play tonight's £5.50 TOTTY, post your name on this thread, & you will be entitled to play this INVITE ONLY Freeroll next week on Sky Poker.

The Tourney at Luton is expected to attract about 60 runners, so a £6k Prize Pool, with approx £2,000 up top. Anything between 5 & 8 players will get paid, with the lowest paid spot getting about £250.

I'll Tweet my progress Live from the Table not less than once per 45 minute level. To follow my progress at Luton - or lack of - follow me on Twitter, my handle is "Tony_Kendall"

So, the Freeroll could be worth as much as £1,000, or might not even take place, if I fail to cash. Oh the pressure......

    Whats it all about?

    Simple.

    Sky Poker are looking at ways to engage even better with our Community.

    One of the ideas we tossed around was that I plan to go to Vegas a little earlier than usual this year, & play a week or two of Deepstack Tourneys, maybe even a WSOP Event, it's undecided yet.

    Sky Poker might - MIGHT - "buy" half of my action in some of those Events. And if they do, they will get half of any winnings I get, & they will donate that in Themed Sky Poker Freerolls for Sky Poker regulars who follow my Vegas Tweets.

    It's just the germ of an idea at the moment, & may come to nothing, who knows? In fact, Sky Poker don't even know I'm doing this tonight, but hey, it's only money. Though it'll be MY money tonight, if I can't schmooze the boss......

    If I don't cash tonight, it won't matter anyway, but you know how it is, never be afraid to fail & all that.....

    Of course the whole idea is to drive more runners to various Tournaments, tonight being the £5.50 TOTTY Rebuy at 8.30pm, but for players, it's pretty much a bet to nothing. With the emphasis, given how I'm playing right now, on "nothing".....

    So, I have not failed to prepare, but I'm preparing to fail. Or win £2,000, of which £1,000 would be yours.......

    I can't play tonight as packing for my hols as we go in the morning :)

    Don't forget, you have to enter tonight's £5.50 TOTTY to "qualify". And I have to cash in the Live Event, gulp......

    I'll be Tweeting regular Updates, & if I Final, they continue until about 5am, it goes on a bit, that Tourney. Or I may be in bed by 10pm if it all goes pete tong.

    Never mind, failure never scares me. I'm used to it.....

    good luck tonight Tikay and a good and generous idea, maybe you should start a thread and sell some of your vegas action in one of the sides to the forum regs, would be a good way to get players involved and it could put pressure on sky to stake you in another event... ;-)

    I still think my idea a few weeks ago that we should stake you 1% each for the Main Event is a cracking idea!!

    Just a bit of fun, it might work, it might not. We shall see.

    I just got a call from my Boss, & I told him my thinking. "Don't puit the thrread up yet, let's think about it first, & check with the legal people".

    I told him it was too late, the cat is well & truly out of the bag. Whoops.


    The mechanism will be similar to Phil12UK's recent Birthday Freeroll, if I cash, I'll pay Sky Poker the money, (50% of any winnings) & they'll setup the locked Freeroll.
