good fold or stupid fold?

Just folded this hand, was thinking about calling the dude but i resisted, didnt want to risk third of my stack to a race or probably behind at this stage of the deepstack, but was i right?

    Got to admit i dont mind the fold if opponent is a nit.  I agree with not racing a third stack flipping or dominated.

    If you think he's capable of doing it with  with A10 or lower, or he has to do it with 9's or lower, then its mainly a call.  If he is a nit, then i think the fold is ok also
