Advice Please! I Don't want to be a Bubble Boy

Hi Gang.
I want to play poker this evening, however, I have 7 strips of wallpaper to hang between 5.45pm & 7.15pm, which is when my 1st tourney starts. That's just one and a half hours to hang 7 strips of wallpaper. (Needs to be matched too) Who in their right mind picks floral wall paper?

Anyway - Can this be achieved easily or should I rush it and risk getting a few bubbles? (My wife will kill me)
Or
Should I take my time and risk being bubble boy in my tourney's?

Help.

Cut 7 strips to size , put them up with drawing pins , crack open a nice cold tinnie stand back and admire fire up laptop and sit down for a nights poker job done.

Paste and hang properly at a later date if time permits.

I don't do DIY - I get the experts in, because even if I took my time, I'd end up with bubbles.

I'd call it quits for the day - better that than do it wrong imo

cut the 7 strips to size, paste 4 strips and hang in order that you pasted them (to give time for paste to soak in) while you hang the 4, get someone else to paste the other 3, by the time they've done this you will be ready for them, then trim all edges to size, it should take no longer than 10 minutes to prepare and cut strips, 5 minutes to mix paste, 10 minutes to paste 4 strips, 10 minutes to hang the 4 strips, then another 7 to hang the final 3, 10 minutes to trim and 10 miutes to clear up which in total is 62 minutes max!!! good luck

As above, you should have used paint! i blame those makeover shows, everyone now wants one wallpaper feature wall.Expect bubbles if doing it whilst on the sly playing poker!! Or think, concentrate on the poker to be able to afford to get a man who can in!

    Lolz

Thanks for all the advice peeps - It took me 2 and a half hours and i'm in the 8.15 deepy and not a bubble in sight. (Hope it looks ok when its dried out)

I cut all the strips prior to hanging, which was a bit tricky because of matching it up, pasted 4 strips, had a ciggy and a brew, hung 3, pasted another 3, hung the 4th and the rest were ready to go -

The wife loves it................and i'm playing poker. JOBS A GOOD'N

Whilst i'm pleased for your success.....After doing such a good job, this can only lead to your mrs wanting more elaborate diy done over the many sundays and bank holiday mondays that are still to come this summer !!!!!!
