ok bit of a nothing hand, but an example of wot i wanna ask about.
been raising pretty much every button, and had been 3 bettin him a fair bit, villian is decent player more than capable of 3bettin me light, i call his 3bet pre & float flop simply coz im IP and plan to take pot away if i sense any weakness, the check on the turn is my greenlight and i bet.
when he c/r shoves turn obvv i have to fold, but my Q is am i makin it too obvious im just usin my position? this is a good spot for villian to shove back over the top of me here? i struggle to put him on a hand that 3bets pre, bets flop, checks turn on that board. but at the same time i dont really know wot im reppin! does my bet make any sense on the turn? i cud play overpairs this way right? or shud overpairs/sets raise flop on this type of board?....im gettin caught out quite a bit lately with this type of thing & its doin my head in, am i just spewing money playin like this? (knock urself out n1ck lol) or is it good play? if he has a hand hes prepared to get it with y does he check turn? when i call flop on this board 10 on turn dont change much so surely he shud bet again? he dont kno i have nowt, so no reason 4 him to think i wont call. maybe he just read me kinda well (altho i dont understand his shove-unless hes bluffin himself) .... thoughts?

i prefer checking back turn and halfpotting river because thats what i do with 55-99 if im not stacking off pre or on the flop
ok here is another hand against same villian. this hand is after the previous 1 ive put up. i call his 3bet pre again simple coz im IP (altho i guess its pretty bad i shud just fold) this time i check back turn - altho i shud be bettin here? but as i now know he is capable of c/r me in this spot i check back to see the river.
when he bets the river shud i be calling or raising here? if i raise/shove are there enough hands that i beat that bet call the river? am i potentially missing some value if i just flat?
it seemslike you jsut call way too many 3bets ip with pretty marginal holdings
AJ hand vs keysa is just a cooler if hes 3betting you alot
Can't keep on calling 3 bets and then try and dance your way to the pot.
This is very read dependant as the majority of the time they have the goods.
Better play would be to 4bet pre if you think they are 3 betting light and most importantly not a station )
looks like std 3x/9x sizings preflop..i prefer making it 10x though just to be different.
if villain is aware he calls alot he should be 3betting 'light' but never as a pure bluff so strong broadway hands become the nuts like KQ AJ KJ etc
