Morning everyone!

We realise that Mr Orford has started a thread about the GUKPT over the weekend and there will be another one for live updates too. However, we just wanted to start a thread for all those of you who want to send him some love and best wishes for his assault on the GUKPT event in Walsall.

Lets all show some love and thanks to Tikay who will be working over the weekend supporting and mentoring all the Sky Poker team too.

Obviously we wish luck to all the players representing Sky Poker, but lets have have a genuine thread dedicated to showing some love for Rich and Tikay!

    PS - OK, just a tinsy-winsy bit.

    I upset him yesterday, truth to tell. We had a Meeting in the Office about some, err, stuff, & he wanted me to fetch him a coffee. Me, fetch HIM, a coffee? Does Des Lynam, or Jeff Stelling, or Helen Chamberlain have to act as a gofer? I thought not. One rests one's case.

    To be fair, though, everyone yanks his chain, non-stop, on the Community, on the poker Tables, on 865, everywhere, it's relentless.

    Nothing would give me greater pleasure than watching Rich Orford cashing in the GUKPT this weekend. Your good vibes might just be enough to get him over the line, too.

    Mentoring him? Dunno about that. But I'll be fetching him coffee & nibbles every half-hour, though. Just this once, like.

    Come on, let's hear it for our hero, one of life's good guys - Rich Orford. In truth, I do love him. A bit. Ish. Sort of.

    i've heard numbers have been pretty good this week at walsall, 
    should be a great main event...good luck to all the sky folk who are playing.

    btw, does tikay mentoring come with a health warning pls?

    I'll be quite jealous tomorrow, actually, but in a way, rather them than me, the pressure on them all, especially Rich Orford, will be huge.

    I actually am quite confident that Rich will give a good account of himself. He's a better player than most realise, & the triple range merge floaters & whatnots will be wasting their emporors suit of clothes making daft moves on him.

    GL to Rich but also everyone else going! There is a huge number of Sky players in attendance, surely we can get 1 or 2 (or maybe 9) on the final table.

    How many are actually going?
    I cant think of at least 7...
