Title somes it up i think. Maybe im just being results orientated so ive invcluded the results for that reason.

Thoughts: Pre, the raiser has been pretty actve on a cally table, i felt comfortable playing in posison.

Flop: The best size made me feel like my TPTK was beat so i passed (more i think about it the more it makes pre worse)

Please please help me regain some sanity.

Honestly, how badly? Really, really badly.

I don't hate the call pre that much on the button, but that's more about position than cards. You're only really worried about TT-AA-everything else you have beat, apart from a miracle set. There's way more hands like AK/AQ/AJ that make a c-bet here that you now have dominated, not to mention underpairs- same deal. If you call with A9 that's about as good a flop as you can possibly hope for- I'd prefer that to an ace on board, because all the aces that dominate you just got there, and there's more combos of AK/AQ/AJ/A10 than there are AA/KK/QQ/JJ/TT.

Once you get that board in a donkament I just say **** with it and shove. If he turns an overpair bink an A to shut him up.

how can you call with that rubbish, hit, and then fold?

If your gonna play it, get it in on the flop!

With a raise and a call in front the call with A9o really is pretty weak bud.

i dont hate it if im honest, your top pair & top kicker is very vulnerable so would be a bit of a gamble

what was he looking to flop......an ace? if you are going to call pre with this onion then fold when you hit the only flop you can be sure came down from god himself, it really needs to be suited and ideally be able to make a straight, i would rather bluff/fold pre than call with this junk.....
