MTT's with 101 Players, 50% cashing lose 9% ROI

I know this has been suggested before, but are Sky going to change this?

Played in two MTT's this week, both with 101 players.

Top 20 places cash, 11-20 get less return than their initial investment.

This means 90% of starters are guaranteed a -ve ROI.

i voted to pay top 18 as I know you,ve gotta draw a line somewhere but with 101 players its almost like a satelite where 1 in 5 cash/go through and don,t think tou should pay so many places

That is exactly the point, 101 players usually takes about 3hrs to reach the cash.
Why bother, when you could play about 6 DYM's in the same time, without multi-tabling.
If you buy-in late when say 80 ish registered, if it goes over 100, best to de-register.

They should pay 15... 18 Won't have much of a difference

    I would suggest 100 - 120 = 15 paid, then 121 - 199 20 paid

P.S play for the win anyway! :P

Payer fewer IMO. This is an annomally that needs to be be corrected. There should be more steps in the prize structures between 100 and 200 runners.

I was playing FTW, my JJ got gazumped by a rag Ace, standard.
Thats when I finished 13th and noticed I'd made a loss after 3hrs play.

I dont know why we're complaining tbh. I played on another site for a while *cough* stars *cough* and regularly 3000 runners, top 50 maybe got double their buy in. Thats 5-6 hours play to double my money. Only the final tables you make really make it worth your while.

Seriously dont mean to sound harsh but we have it good here.

don the point is people are cashing in the tournament and arent making their buyins back, mincashes on other tourneys are almost always 150%+ of the buyin

its a tough one really because i think 20% is about fair. If the prizes between 10 - 20% were raised then the increase in profit for the final table may be so small that there may become a risk that the game of poker goes out the window after the bubble. I agree that after playing that long i want to make a profit but with skypoker not getting hundreds upon hundreds of people playing MTT's im not sure this obstacle can be overcome this easily.
