Hi all The last 8 that are left were the closest to the score, the decision will be who guessed the closest to Rich's finishing position.

I was watching the chatbox on Rich's table and you said there was no-one with the correct score (4-1) and that you would decide between the 8 people who guessed 3-1....that is fair enough but surely Murray69 is just as close with his guess of 4-0 and should be in with a shot of winning also?

based on the average prediction for Rich's final place taking into account all guesses, it works out out to be 41st ;)

That's a lot higher than it used to be, Wayne!

Right- interestingly, for the first time ever, NO-ONE got the footy score right (which was 4-1)

Instead we had eight players on 3-1 and one player on 4-0, so they all went into the final to win the TSP Classic seat and it all came down to their predictions for my performance in tonight's.

    I came 62nd. Lost to a straight-forward coin-flip in the end.

And the nearest to 62nd- with 43rd- was...

    HAWK7112!

Well done Dave- let me know when you'd like to play on this thread and I'll get it sorted. Heers to everyone who played and unlucky this time!

Difficult one Murray and maybe I need to tighten the rules even more. I stated that the footy score had to be spot on- but since no-one got it correct I had to go to the nearest.

What's the nearest then? 4-0 or 3-1? In the former, the first part of the score is correct and the second half is only 1 off- in the latter the second half is correct and the first half is only 1 off.

I decided the fairest way was for all the 3-1s and 4-0s to be judged on their predictions for my finishing position.

Next time- I do it I'll come up with some cast-iron terms and conditions to keep everyone happy. That said, this is the first week ever that not one person had predicted the correct scoreline.

    Calling Hawk7112!

    DAVE!!!!!!

When do you want to play the TSP Classic? I can't get it organised till I know your night of preference. Please stick it on this thread as I don't check my PM inbox as often as I look at the forum!

If anyone is in contact with Dave or on his table, could you alert him to this post please?

    Ta! :)
