I got near the bubble in the 4000K guarantee tournament, being pretty card dead throughout, picked up ak once and pocket tens once - which i doubled through.
I got knocked out this hand. Should i have shoved here. I was on the button and essentially hoping just to pickup the blinds on a quite aggressive table.
Thinking about maybe i should have done a 3x raise, (maybe i could then have folded to his re-raise - or i might have had to shove anyway - and hoped for a coin flip.). Though I was put off the x3 raise as it would be around a 5th of stack and i was going to get at least some callers - and see a flop which i most likely would hate.
I find this hard, early stages of a tourny you can sit tight and pick off loose players, but in later stages when blinds are big what do you do with marginal hards like middle pockets??? (is it just a shove or fold)
