Trevor Harris Friday Omaha Challenge PLUS Q & A tonight

Hello lads and lasses,

Just to let you know that from next Friday I'll be embarking on my next Play the Presenter Challenge. I'll be playing Omaha and omaha hi/lo only (sit n goes and dym gamnes) at varying levels to try and turn a profit.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to stop me doing that by busting me out of as many games as you can before I cash.

(THIS POST WILL SELF-DESTRUCT IN 10 SECONDS)

Only kidding.....

Plus tonight, to get you in the mood, I'm around til midnight to try and answer any questions you might have - from tactical stuff, issues that have been bothering you or even where best to stay if you're planning a trip to Vegas anytime soon.

If you want to fire a few footy questions at me that's fine too.

I'm yours til the wee small hours - don't be shy!

Trev

I do hope Ramsey gets a good reception at the Brittania !!

quick qustion then,  Will Brighton GUKPT sell out next weekend you think, or will you just be able to buy in If i make a late desc. to bomb down there?

    Football question for you Trev....

You are well known for supporting one of the 'bigger' clubs (Arsenal) but what are your unbiased views on next week's FA Cup Final? Do you always look for the favourites to win or do you like the underdog to upset the odds? I am Stoke supporter so I obv hope we win but I would also like to see a classic game that goes down in history for future generations to admire.

PS..I was at the Stoke game last year when young Ramsey unfortunately broke his leg (I was in the stand behind and heard the crack, ouch!) but I must say that there was absolutely no malice in the challenge from Shawcross, even though it appeared your manager thought otherwise.

    Cheers, Alan

    Hi Hitman,

I'd say there probably wouldn't be a problem buying in - interesting that Scotty77 said, after he came 6th at Walsall, that the standard wasn'y any higher thana standard Sky £20 8pm tourney - so go for your life mate.
     How's your form anyway?

As for Ramsay - Arsenal fans will inevitably boo Shawcross....and apparently Stoke fans are going to boo Ramsay for not accepting Shawcross's apology! the handshake at the start will be interesting!

    Hi Alan,

My view on the Shawcross challenge was that it was reckless and dangerous but I don't think he meant to hurt Ramsay.

On the Cup Final - I actually always look first to see if I can make a case for backing the underdogs. In this case I think there is - City are still overly reliant on Tevez and even iof he plays he won't be 100%. Etherington is a massive miss for you but I think if you can stop Yaya Toure bossing the midfield and making those dominating forward runs you have a chance. My reservation is that you lack a quality striker - stereotypical I know but I think Huth nutting one in is probably your best chance without the creativity of Etherington.

    Hi Seppe,

Omaha hi-lo is the most fun game I know and isn't anywhere near as complicated as some people make out. There are a lot of split pots because one player has the nut or near nut hi and the other the nut or near nut lo. Inexperienced players over-rate a hand with an ace and deuce in it even it the other 2 cards don't connect.

Say you have A27J rainbow - not a lot of use when the flop comes 10 Q 3

But some players call raises and even shove the lot pre-flop

You can start off playing very low stake dym games - I would advise reading up a little first but many of the players at this level will be as inexperienced as you.

I promise you that once you get into it you'll love it.

Hope Shawcros & Ramsey make a point of a 'shake' during the warm up even, would hold alot of respect for both if they managed that |!!
