Just want to say thank you to all those who sent words of encouragements and congratulations to Adam Bromley ... a very happy chap is on his way back from Leeds grinning from ear to ear and showing his trophy to everyone from the taxi driver to the security guard!

OMG what was that? When i got served he gave me a double portion.... it's hardly like i need it lol. The chef was Italian and he was beaming about his homemade lasagne...... 'you musta come anda tella me whata you thinka!' he said. I was expecting great things indeed given the chefs confidence. My excitement was very short lived though as upon tasting this creation it soon became clear that the chefs confidence was as misplaced as a strawberry daquiri on a lads night out! It was a conjealed mass of cheese, some cheese, a layer of cheese, then sprinkled with cheese. There was very little tomato sauce and lots of cheesy white sauce which when eaten with the rest of the cheese became a solid but squidgy cheesy putty. There was some kind of animal in there too i think. We couldn't work out what it was exactly but it did have the consistency of pedigree chum. Needless to say i didn't rush back to the chef to congratulate him. I did however spend 1am onwards bent double with tummy ache and most of today nursing the rodneys............ Anyone else got a dicky tummy? Of course i'm not saying it was the lasagne...... it could just as easily been the packet of walkers crisps i had or the cups of tea
Anyways..... it's not all bad. I really do need to lose a stone or 2
Other than that it was another great day out. WD Sky and Leeds

Ahhhhhhhh sorry BigFlop!!! To be honest I'd have replied last night to apologise but by the time I donked off in the 8pmer my phone was dead, I did receive a text though saying that some big flopper was lambasting me on the forums ( If it's any consolation please know that I knew I'd be an unmitigated disaster on the mike and had avoided TK like the plague for the previous 4 hours when I got wind he was gonna get me on the live stream!!! Alas, I sold my soul to the devil for the price of a breakfast and a bit of peace and quiet, and well..you heard the result!!! I tried to give the mike back to Tighty three times before he actually accepted it!! I did try telling everyone that I sound like a 12 yr old on speed but no-one was paying any heed....
Please apologise to whichever 'friend' of yours I tilted, it really was not my intention...If i'd have known who it was earlier I'd have apologised in person and offered to buy them a pint..it really was just a bit of banter and fun and I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you (( I'm swerving Cardiff but please tell whoever it was to come and find me at DTD for the afore mentioned pint...
All in all an excellent weekend, it was fantastic to catch up with friends old and new..and a HUGE congratulations and welcome to TKPers newst recruit HAPPYNIGE!!!!
